A Kerala mural painting featuring Lord Rama, Sita, and Garuda is a rare and captivating depiction within the rich tradition of Kerala’s temple art. While the majority of Traditional Kerala Arts focus on scenes from the Ramayana, such as the coronation of Rama (Rama Pattabhishekam) or the construction of the Ram Setu (Rama’s bridge to Lanka), the inclusion of Garuda—Vishnu’s celestial vehicle—is less common.
